#HappyWomensDay: If I could be even 10% as strong as my mother, I would be on top of my life game: Ruhi Chaturvedi

Ruhi Chaturvedi of Kundali Bhagya talks of her strong thoughts on Women’s Day.

Ruhi Chaturvedi of Kundali Bhagya is of the strong opinion that every day is to be cherished and meant to feel special if you are a woman!! She admonishes the idea of celebrating one day as Women’s Day.

Ruhi who is popular for her role of Sherlyn in Kundali Bhagya speaks from her heart, “Why do people forget that every day is Women’s day?  We don’t need a particular day to make ourselves feel special. It’s because of women the world is running. She has the capability to create a human being. Even after having such amazing power, we make women so helpless.”

Ruhi will definitely want to be reborn as a woman. “Of course I would love to be reborn as a woman because I can be strong, loving, caring, protective, all at the same time. It’s a superpower to have (smiles).”

Ruhi’s driving force has been her mom. “I have seen my mom in the weakest times of her life, but she was still smiling. If I could be even 10% as strong as her, I would be on top of my life game.”

Ruhi believes that we live in a man dominated society. “Yes, we still live in a man dominating society. But slowly it’s changing. I’m too blessed to be born in a family that never differentiates between me and my brother. In fact, I was the one who always got more preference.”

“I want to just be a better person and learn from mistakes. As a woman, one small mistake and society would be waiting to eat you alive. So never let other people overpower you.”

The message on the occasion of Women’s Day coming from Ruhi is, “Believe in your dreams.  Don’t let anyone say you can’t achieve it. Everyone is scared of people who dream big. But they are the ones who become leaders.”

Happy Women’s Day, Ruhi!!
