Actor Rrahul Sudhir, who is known for his portrayals in projects such as Twisted, Gehraiyaan, Rajaa Betaa, Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, etc, feels that Holi is a festival that brings the child in him alive. On the occasion of Holi, Rrahul talks at length about the significance of the festival, his style quotient while playing Holi and more.

“Holi to me is about that unfettered joy of being a kid again. It always felt like stepping into a vibrant painting full of laughter and celebration, where nothing matters except colours, friends and good food. The festival reminds me to embrace life’s simple joys fully and with heart.”

Rrahul is honest enough to tell us that he has done all that he could to get the stubborn colours off him after a hearty play. “Honestly, I used to worry way too much about getting all the colour off quickly. I would try every hack under the sun only to realise that most of them were stubborn and would stay on proudly like a memory. Now I just leave it, let it be and wear it like a little souvenir of a day well lived.”

His first target if he were a Holi water balloon would be, “I would probably pick that one friend who always pretends they are too cool to play Holi. They would have never expected it from me, and that instant of surprised laughter is just worth every splash.”

The funniest prank he has seen someone pull under the Bura Na Mano Holi Hai pretext will be, “My favourite was seeing someone being all polite with colour on their face, and then suddenly a bucket of coloured water would sneak up on them from behind. The look of mock betrayal and burst of laughter that followed was priceless.”

On his style quotient for the day, Rrahul says, “For me, Holi has always been about embracing the festival wholeheartedly, so bring on the crisp white. Let it catch all the colours, let the day paint its own story on the outfit and in the memories. That’s the vibe Holi deserves.”

Ask him about his Holi favourite numbers, and he finds it tough to pick one. “There are so many energetic songs, but the ones that instantly get everyone moving are the old classics that just stick in your head and make the moment feel timeless.”

On his Holi plans, he tells us, “I am planning to make it a relaxed one with close friends and family. Good colours, good food with gujiyas and thandai, lots of laughter, and just soaking in the festival with people who make life light and joyful as it should be.”

Here’s wishing all a very Happy Holi!!
