Actor Sachin Sharma, who has impressed audiences with his powerful performances in Rabb Se Hai Dua and Suman Indori, believes that acting is not just a profession but a journey of personal transformation. “I think not just work-wise, but this journey into acting is making me a better and stronger person every day,” he shares. “Honestly, I have struggled a lot to get to where I am today—and this is just the beginning.”
Sachin’s path into the entertainment industry has been anything but easy. “When I first came to Mumbai, I had nothing. But I had a passion and a dream. Today, I may not have everything, but I have something—and I am grateful for that.”
He made his television debut with Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua, which gave him the chance to work alongside seasoned actors he had long admired. “I was lucky to share the screen with such senior actors. They have been like mentors to me and helped me grow as a performer.”
Sachin’s most cherished role so far has been ‘Akhil’ in Suman Indori. “That character will always be close to my heart. The show gave me everything—there was so much to explore as an actor. I got to play a negative shade, a comical zone, a beautiful love angle, and even a positive transition. It really challenged and shaped me.”
Interestingly, his involvement in the creative side of television is also notable—Sachin previously worked as an Assistant Creative Head on the popular show Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. He credits his time in theatre as a strong foundation for his craft. “Yes, I have done theatre. It has helped me a lot to grow as an actor.”
Looking ahead, Sachin is clear about his goals. “Right now, I am not part of any ongoing show, but I am in talks for a new project. I aim to lead a show someday—and hopefully, I will crack it soon.”
As for dream roles, Sachin is eager to step into action-packed characters. “I think I would love to do action. It is something I really want to explore in the future.”
