Zee TV’s popular show Kumkum Bhagya produced by Balaji Telefilms has been an audience favourite courtesy its intriguing plot and the authentic portrayal of relatable characters. The show recently took 6 years leap wherein the viewers saw Ranbir (Krishna Kaul) and Prachi (Mugdha Chapekar) parting ways because they hold each other responsible for losing their daughter Panchi.
Now, post leap, the show saw a new entry of a girl named Khushi played by child artist Trisha Rohatgi. Khushi is a sweet little happy girl who loves to spread joy in everyone’s life. Despite living off the streets, she is someone who bears a strong conscience and is quick to stand up for what she believes is right. In the show, she has a special connection individually with Prachi and Ranbir.
Talking about her role, Trisha, who was last seen in Yeh Hai Chahatein, said, “Kumkum Bhagya is one of the biggest shows on television right now and I know everything about the show already because I have been watching it with my mother for years. I am a huge fan of Mugdha didi and Krishna bhaiya and I can’t believe I have got this opportunity to work with them.”
She further mentioned, “My character is just like me in real life. Just like her, I love to stay positive in every situation. I am extremely happy to be a part of a popular show and I hope the audience loves me as much as they love the show.”
