Actor Salil Ankola who started his second innings with Swastik Productions popular show Karamphal Data Shani will celebrate his birthday on 1st March. The actor will turn 49.
Speaking on his plans for birthday Salil says, “Age is actually a number. It’s in the mind of an individual whether he feels old or not. The saying Health Is Wealth is absolutely true. I will be 49 on 1st of March but I am as fit as a 20-year-old, maybe fitter. The people who never aged mentally are Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger (they still work out seriously) and they are 70 years old. Our very own Salman Khan is an excellent example. You are only as old as you think you are.”
So how will you celebrate your birthday? “I had actually booked a resort in the Konkan hills for 1st, 2nd and 3rd March which my wife Ria made me cancel as she is also planning about my birthday. On my birthday I will be going out for lunch with my daughters, Ria and my son in law to a place of their choice. We are a very close-knit family and good food is one of the prime things that binds us together. My son won’t be there as he is studying in the UK.”
Any gift you want to give yourself this birthday? “I have already bought myself six pairs of my preferred shoes. And the best gift is that I will be celebrating my birthday with my family and closest friends this time. So what else can I ask? I consider myself lucky to have a loving family like this.”
