Actress Samridhii Shukla has bagged the huge opportunity to shoulder the next generation tale of the Director’s Kut show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus. As we know, Shehzada Dhami plays the role of Armaan Poddar while Samridhii Shukla essays Abhira Akshara Sharma. Playing the lead Abhira, Samridhii is ecstatic that she has bagged this huge responsibility.
With the festival of lights coming soon after her entry in the show, Samridhii took some time off during the Diwali Puja on the set to talk to IWMBuzz.com.
Says Samridhii, “Abhira has been loved a lot. We have bagged a good response for the episodes. I am happy with the response got. It is a great experience to be part of the DKP family. I feel the same, now that I am part of the family. Carrying forward the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai legacy is a big responsibility. But I am happy with the love showered by the audience.”
Samridhii urges her fans to have a safe Diwali. “Go for a less-noisy Diwali and be safe. Take care of your pets. Be careful of noise and air pollution during Diwali,” she states.
Finally, Samridhii shared her experience of being together with Pranali Rathod during the promotions of the show. “I enjoyed a lot being with her. She is a wonderful actress. We were together for the whole day during our promotions.”
