Dashing actor Angad Hasija, who is known for her roles of Aalekh in Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai and Kundan in Ziddi Dil Maane Na, is back on-screen with a powerful character in Sony Sab’s latest show Dharm Yoddha Garud. Talking about the show, Angad said, “Whenever I select a show, I look for something different. My fans are also aware that I love doing versatile characters. Hence, I knew fans would love my new and different avatar in Garud. Apart from being different, this character is difficult too. It is very tough to do a mytho show.”
He further added, “I was excited because no one has ever shed light about Garud, as a mythological character before on Television, hence for the audience, for the first time ever, they will get to hear unknown tales of the almighty Garud. I play a very strong character of a naag, who is the main enemy of garud. I feel the show is also blessed with a unique concept and the overall presentation of the show in terms of VFX and the use of technology is going to be unbelievable.”
When asked about his reunion with Parul Chauhan, he mentioned, “When I heard that Parul is on board for the show, I was very excited. I was so happy to reunite with Parul. We are working together after 12 years. When I shot with her for the first time, I thought we were still shooting for Bidaai show. We went down memory lane and remembered those moments. We have stayed in touch and continue to be dear friends. It feels that we are back in time where it all began. As she is playing my mother I tease her a lot. Also, she has warned me not to address her as maa offscreen, which I do jokingly all the time.”
On an endnote, Angad shared, “The audience has been a constant support to me in all these years. They have always accepted me in different roles. I would urge the audience to shower all their love, support, and blessings on my new character and show. We all have worked really hard and I am sure you will love this show.”
