Aditi Sajwan is happy to be associated with the Swastik Pictures show Haathi Ghoda Paal Ki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki, which recently launched on Star Bharat.

Says Aditi, “I have been in talks with the channel and production house on the role and show for the last one and half months. The show has retained many of its artists from RadhaKrishn. So there are only a few that have been added into the main cast.”

Aditi who has been part of the mythological genres as well as the social drama shows and even comedy shows too, loves the challenge that a mytho project throws at her. “Mytho shows open up a new challenge where you will have to follow a particular graph of the character and walk forward. Everything is so powerful and classy in such genres. From the costume to the jewellery and even the lines to speak, all of it is heavy. So a lot of actors are not comfortable doing such projects. Many shy away from it. I believe that every mythological project that you accept is a challenge in itself.”

Aditi who is even today known for her role of Yashoda in Jai Shri Krishna will again play Yashoda in Haathi Ghoda Paal Ki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki. “I am happy that I am playing Yashoda again. The makers gracefully asked me to play the role again. They were happy with the benchmark I set up in the role earlier. So the recall value is huge for me in this role. I am happy that they believe in my work.”

“Jai Shri Krishna has been such an impactful show in my career. Even during the pandemic, the show was on air. Though I am mainly known for this role, I am happy that I have got popular roles in shows like Baalveer, Chidiya Ghar etc. Even today, people remember me as Koyal and Natkhat Pari. Also, my role of Meera was appreciated,” she adds.

On her expectations from the show, she exclaims, “We have seen a very challenging time for television in the last few years. People are switching to OTT. Many have lost the space and time to feel relaxed, sit before the TV set and follow the shows they want. They rather prefer to watch at a time when they are free. This show will tell the tale of Krishn, which everyone will love to watch. It is a show made for all ages of audiences. My reason to play Yashoda in Jai Shri Krishna was to see my Dadi and Nani being happy. Now, the expectations are that people accept this lovely tale of Krishna.”

“I have heard so many good things about Swastik Pictures. And rightly so, they are so accommodating and friendly to work with. It is an exciting phase for me to be a part of this show,” Aditi states.

Best of luck, Aditi!!
