Raghav Tiwari the talented actor has made a speedy entry into the Colors show Sirf Tum starring Vivian Dsena and Eisha Singh. He gets to carry forward the screen name of Aditya from his earlier show Hamariwali Good News to Sirf Tum now.

Says Raghav on his experience so far, “Sirf Tum’s Aditya is totally the opposite of Aditya in the Zee show. He is a happy-go-lucky guy who just wants to spread happiness all around. He also has a lot of layers which is quite refreshing for me to play! Even writers are experimenting on him, so it’s going great. Sometimes I do call it “Aditya in a Multiverse of Madness” ?”

“This is the first time that I am playing a happy-go-lucky character. I am enjoying my experimentation with it. I usually essayed characters who are mature, serious and grey or had multiple shades which makes them more challenging. Yes, my forte is more into the grey shade. But I think as an actor, one should explore other genres to get better in art form and gain that creative flexibility,” Raghav adds to his passion to experiment.

Work is a breeze for Raghav along with Eisha Singh. “I am having a great time working with Eisha. She is a very dedicated artist and this is the second time I am working with her. We also shared the screen in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani Season 3 which was 2017. Her sincerity towards her work is really appreciable.”

Ask him what prompted him to get into an ongoing show, and Raghav is quick to say, “To be very honest I believe in being a versatile artist and all I seek is for a different or should I say a “challenging” character to play. It doesn’t matter if it’s a new or an ongoing show. For me playing something challenging is exciting as I am passionate about my artwork. When the makers discussed this character with me, I agreed in no time. Because first, this character is something different and interesting for me to essay and also “Aditya” has a lot of potential to bring an interesting flavour to the show. The best thing about this character is that apart from being jolly or super positive, he also has a lot of emotions hidden in him which brings in more layers to perform and yes that excites me every day !”

“I completely believe in experimentation! I believe that writers do their part by creating a character but a sincere actor must bring life to it. Experimentation opens the possibilities to improvisations, different body language variations, better deliverance and of course, makes the character look more real. I’ve always used method acting techniques for my characters, so yes experiments come handy every day,” he opines.

Raghav has already shot for two interesting OTT projects and says, ” Two of my ott projects are coming up very soon! And trust me you guys will be amazed for sure! TOUCH WOOD ?”

On the dream roles that he has in mind, Raghav has a long list. “I have a huge list of my dream roles to play, but if I had to shortlist one of them, as a die-hard Al Pacino fan, I would Kill or Die to essay “Michael Corleone” from the Godfather trilogy. I at least saw the trilogy more than 100 times and it’s like a Bible to me. I’ve always felt that deep connection with this character and yes, Sir Al Pacino really set some God-level bars of acting with his performance and made this character a dream for all aspiring actors like me to play.”

On the response gotten for Sirf Tum, Raghav tells us, “I am getting lots of positive reviews from fans and regular viewers of Sirf Tum. They are appreciating my performance and relate to this character. Even I am getting a lot of messages from Hamariwali Good News fans too. They are amazed by witnessing a different “Aditya”. Also, the viewers are loving this new flavour in the show. So, I hope I’ll keep entertaining them & give them more reasons to shower love on me ❤”

Best of luck, Raghav!!
