Priya Bhardwaj, who plays Madhu in Zee TV’s Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment, is fascinated by how the new twists in the storyline capture the audience’s attention and become significant in the narrative.
She says, “The twists in the show add more energy and intensity to my performance. Each new turn brings a different emotion for my character, so I have to stay alert and emotionally connected in every scene.”
“Whether it’s silence, anger, or helplessness, these sudden shifts make the performance feel more real and engaging. They also keep the character and the story interesting for the audience,” she adds.
She mentions that sudden narrative turns make the character both more exciting and more demanding to portray. She says, “They allow me to explore unexpected layers of the character, but at the same time they require quick emotional shifts and strong focus. As an actor, it challenges me to stay present and adapt instantly, which makes the performance more engaging.”
Priya personally enjoys performing emotional twists the most. She avers, “They allow me to explore the depth of my character and express real, heartfelt reactions. Emotional moments challenge me to connect with the character’s inner feelings, which makes the performance more authentic and impactful for the audience.”
As for her approach to those scenes, she shares, “I first focus on understanding my character’s emotions in that moment. I stay fully present, react truthfully, and let the situation guide my performance.”
“Flexibility and quick adaptation are key—I try to connect with the character’s perspective instantly, which helps me keep the scene authentic and engaging for the audience,” she adds.
She confesses that being flexible allows her to adjust instantly and adds, “I stay true to my character and deliver performances that feel natural and engaging. Adaptability helps in maintaining the flow of the story and keeps the audience connected.”
Without giving away spoilers, she also reveals that the viewers can expect a lot of emotional twists and intense moments in the upcoming track. “The story will explore deeper relationships, unexpected challenges, and heartfelt interactions between the characters. It promises engaging scenes that keep the audience hooked and invested in what happens next,” Priya ends.
