Divyanka Tripathi is one of the most popular and gorgeous divas of the Hindi TV industry and needless to say, the diva has certainly come a long way in her career. It all started for Divyanka when she made her stunning debut in Hindi TV serials with the show Banu Mein Teri Dulhaan opposite the very charismatic and amazing Sharad Malhotra and soon after, she has been part of several successful shows. The diva is presently seen in KKK 11 where she’s seen putting her best foot forward to conquer her fears in the show.
Throughout her entire career, she has been very selective about the choices she makes and that has certainly contributed to her success in a big way. So what does she have to say about being choosy for projects?
The actress was recently quoted by The Free Press Journal saying,
“It’s been 15 years for me and after a period of time you do get stagnated. I believe in reviving and reinventing. I do it diligently. After I finished ‘Banoo Main Teri Dulhann’ everyone was offering me the role of a dutiful daughter-in-law. That’s the image associated with me.
“I consciously decided I will not take up the role of a daughter-in-law again. I chose to do comedy shows, played a strong powerful woman in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, picked up ‘Nach Baliye 7’ and ‘Crime Patrol’. I have never refrained from taking up new challenges. I want to expand myself as an actor. I don’t limit myself.”
