Popular social media influencer and actress Arishfa Khan, who started her journey in front of the camera as a young child actor, has entered the house of Bigg Boss 20. Known for her massive online following and charm, Arishfa enters the show ready to challenge misconceptions, perform to her best abilities, and reveal her true, unfiltered self to the audience.
In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com before entering the house, Arishfa spoke about her journey in showbiz. “Everyone knows I’ve been working in front of the camera since I was 8 years old, so being in the spotlight is second nature to me. Sure, I felt scared when I was starting, but I’ve learned so much along the way. Today, staying in front of the camera is just part of my everyday life, and I know I’ll easily adapt to having it on me 24/7.”

When it comes to her gameplay inside the house, Arishfa emphasises authenticity, honesty, and striking a balance between her cheerful personality and competitive drive. “My strategy is simple: I want to play fair inside the house. I will never lie, and I expect people not to lie to me in return. I want to show my true, unfiltered self without any pretence. While I am naturally kind, helpful, and bubbly, I also have a strong, competitive persona. I want my fans to see both sides of me and realise that, regardless of my age, I can perform to the absolute best of my abilities.”
Ready to shatter expectations, she promises to bring a bold and principled side to the forefront. “People are going to be surprised to see a strong, firm personality that they’ve never witnessed before, and I’m confident they will appreciate that trait. They will realise that I always stand up for the truth and that I am never afraid to express my opinions.”

Addressing how people often view her, Arishfa makes it clear that youth and innocence do not mean a lack of strength. “I want to clear up the misconception that I’m just an innocent kid who won’t stand up for herself. I’m not saying I’m not innocent, but people are about to see a completely different side of me. As a Gen Z contestant, I know how to speak my mind, share my views, and fight for myself.”
Navigating a high-stakes competitive game means keeping her vulnerabilities close to her chest. “I won’t reveal any weaknesses, even if I have them, because I don’t want my words to be used against me in the game. At the end of the day, this is a competition.”
Leaving behind the comforts of home for the intense atmosphere of Bigg Boss will be a test, but her support system keeps her grounded. “In real life, I’m a homebody who loves watching TV and playing with my cats. The Bigg Boss house is going to be a completely different experience, and learning to live without my phone will certainly be tough. But knowing I have so much love waiting for me on the outside—my fans, my mother, and my cats—will keep me motivated every step of the way.”
Summing up her identity in three words, Arishfa reiterates that age is no barrier once the game begins. “If I had to describe myself in three words, I am kind, strong and an entertainer. At the end of the day, age doesn’t matter inside the house—we are all contestants competing on the same baseline.”
