Talking about the “My character Mumtaz urf Mummo is just like Shabbo in Veer-Zaara, played by the very beautiful Divya Dutta, who is my favourite. I saw Veer-Zaara many times before the show also.”

“A few parts of the character always goes home with me. I always try to take the happy part with me. It wasn’t tough for me to play a Muslim character because I always was inclined towards their beautiful culture, language, tehzeeb and beautiful dresses. I always wanted to do a Muslim show as even my first show was also a Muslim show “Qubool Hai” on Zee TV itself, so we have a some connectivity I guess.”

Best of luck, Shalu!!
