Stunning beauty Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has successfully carved a niche for herself in the industry with her amazing portrayal of Meher in Choti Sarrdaarni on Colors TV. Now, the actress has donned the role of Meher’s daughter Seher post the big leap. Talking about her new role, Nimrit said, “I can’t explain the pressure that I feel after getting into the character of Seher. And no one has created this pressure, it is self-created by me. Meher has become a household name. To break that image, bring alive a new character which is the total opposite was challenging for me. However, I love challenges and I am enjoying the process.”
She added, “I wish I had a little bit time to prepare for Seher. I remember there were days when I was playing both Seher and Meher characters simultaneously. In my new role, I love Seher’s carefree nature. I also like her positive attitude. The show now revolves around Seher’s story and now I hope the audience accepts her as well.”
When asked how much she misses her character Meher, she shared, “I miss Meher every day, and I believe the first character that you play on-screen is beloved and special. Meher will be with me forever. It is irreplaceable. But I also understand that this move of coming up with a leap and changes in the storyline was necessary. We all miss Meher, Sarab just like the audiences. I also understand that when there is a beginning to a story there’s also an end to it.”
Nimrit has already bonded well with the new cast. She mentioned, “Everyone on the sets is amazing. Now, I have people of my age around me. We are bonding really well. We hope audiences accept and welcome us just like the way they accepted us earlier.”
