Actor Angad Hasija, who is currently seen in Zee TV’s Tumm Se Tumm Tak, produced by Studio LSD, looks forward to Diwali and Dhanteras for their spiritual significance, festive traditions and the joy of celebrating with loved ones. From buying gold on Dhanteras to enjoying sweets and spending time with his co-stars, the actor loves every part of the festive season.

“Diwali is such a wonderful time of the year. On Dhanteras, I love gifting myself gold, especially a chain. I also shop for my temple, where I mostly prefer buying silver items. I love these festivities, and since I follow Maa Lakshmi, this festival holds a special spiritual significance for me,” says Angad.

For the actor, Dhanteras is as much about faith and rituals as it is about celebrations. He enjoys participating in the traditions that make the festival special. “I love following all the rituals, whether it is lighting diyas or helping with rangoli. These little things bring me happiness. I believe festivals are a beautiful way to stay connected to our traditions and seek blessings for prosperity and happiness,” he shares.

When it comes to festive shopping, Angad prefers visiting markets over shopping online. The atmosphere, decorations and variety of festive items make the experience exciting for him.

“I don’t prefer online shopping. I would rather go to the market and shop. I love the festive vibe, the beautiful decorations and seeing the shops all decked up. There is so much to explore, and I enjoy looking at the different items available. The entire atmosphere feels special. This is the best time of the year,” he says.

While Diwali is reserved for a day off, Dhanteras gives Angad an opportunity to celebrate with his co-stars on the sets of Tumm Se Tumm Tak. He enjoys these moments of togetherness and the fun that comes with celebrating festivals at work.

“On Diwali, we have an off, but on Dhanteras, I like going to the set and spending time with my co-stars. We do lots of masti together, and I really look forward to it. It is lovely to share these festive moments with people you work with every day,” he says.

The festive season also gives Angad the perfect excuse to indulge in his favourite sweets. “I look forward to my cheat days during this time because I love eating sweets. Festivals are meant to be enjoyed, and I believe we should make the most of these moments. For me, Diwali is about following traditions, enjoying good food and creating happy memories with the people around me,” he adds.
