Bright young talent Sarah Killedar is winning hearts with her portrayal of Mukti in Star Plus and Rajan Shahi’s show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Sarah, who has had her big screen journey with films Main Atal Hoon and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, is playing the role of Armaan and Abhira’s foster daughter Mukti effectively.
She expresses her gratitude for being a part of the Rajan Shahi legacy show, saying, “It feels amazing… I’m grateful to be part of a show that has been loved by audiences for so many years.”
Every actor looks for a piece of themselves in the characters they play, and for Sarah, connecting with Mukti came naturally. “I relate to Mukti’s caring and emotional side. She values relationships, and that’s something I connect with personally.”
Stepping onto a massive set can be daunting for a young performer, but Sarah has found mentorship and camaraderie in her senior co-stars, Rohit Purohit and Samridhii Shukla. “It’s been a great learning experience. They are very supportive, and I learn something new from them every day.”
Having already tasted the distinct rhythm of big-screen cinema projects, she sees every role as a challenge. “Every project has taught me something different. I’ve grown a lot as an actor and continue to learn every day.”
On bagging limelight so early in age, she says, “It feels very special and motivating. I’m thankful for all the love and support I receive from the audience.”
Looking forward, the young star, who has also starred in TV shows Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, Kavya: Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon, etc, has her eyes set on constant evolution. “My goal is to keep improving, take on challenging roles, and entertain audiences through meaningful performances.”
