Actor Raghav Thakur, widely recognised for playing the calm and composed Krishna Shukla in Suhaagan, is quite the opposite in real life. Off-screen, the actor candidly admits that he is someone who simply cannot sit still.
Raghav, who first caught the industry’s attention as Paras Goenka in Nima Denzongpa before transitioning into various OTT projects, recently opened up about his journey, his work ethic, and how he spends his hard-earned downtime.
Talking about the learnings he has gained from his work so far, Raghav says, “Talent is important, but being disciplined, knowing your scenes, and respecting everyone’s time on set makes a huge difference. Even today, I try to come prepared and stay open to learning from every project.
He sets high standards for himself when it comes to fitness. “Starting the day naturally without an alarm, working out, and catching up on movies or series is up in my priority list. I like to spend quality, uninterrupted time with family and close friends. At the outset, I value peaceful and productive downtime.
The actor confesses to having a major travel bug that keeps him constantly on the move. “I absolutely love travelling and exploring new places,” he says enthusiastically. “Whenever I’m not shooting, I often head out somewhere—whether it’s a famous tourist spot or just a random road waiting to be discovered. I enjoy being out, observing places and people, and taking in new experiences. Honestly, I don’t like staying at home for too long; I prefer being out and about.”
