Tell us about this reincarnation concept Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak?

The reincarnation concept is in itself very exciting. The character Poornima is very close to my heart. I have never played such a character till now. Also, this is a very different story. I am sure people will love it. I am happy to have bagged such a refreshing role.

How is it to bag this role?

I am grateful to be part of this project, playing Poornima. When I was giving mock shoots, I was very much determined to bag this role. I was excited to do the role, you can say. I think this character is a good one to play. She is very simple, yet very practical. She knows what to do and what not to do. Poornima has gone through a lot in life.

How has your association with Karam Rajpal been?

Working with Karam Rajpal is a great experience. He is a nice and kind guy. He is very supportive while doing scenes. An actor needs to do scenes with another actor with the same energy. He is very energetic and always brings positivity to the sey.

What is your expectation from this role?

I hope people love Poornima. I also hope that girls out there, who have worked hard all their lives and have gone through a lot of hardships can relate to the character. They need to see that Poornima believes in God, believes in destiny so that people get inspired by her belief.

What are the kind of preparations you undertook for the show?

Poornima is a girl from a small town. Her dialect is very different. I am from Mumbai, so I had to work on my dialect. I am learning it even now. Poornima is a very practical girl. I have never been practical in life. She is mature and quiet. She has faced a lot of trouble in her life. Trupti is not quiet at all. So I am working on my dialect and am learning to be quiet (laughs).

What do you have to tell the audience?
