Afzaal Khan can call himself ‘Jagat Chacha’, as after playing the uncle’s role in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, he will now be seen in the upcoming Shashi Sumeet Productions show on Zee TV titled Meet, wherein he will again play uncle to the male lead, Shagun Pandey.
Says Afzaal, “I play the role of Ram Ahlawat, who is very lively and friendly in nature. Meet (Shagun Pandey) and my uncle’s character has a very good understanding, are more like friends.”
Shagun and Afzaal have worked earlier in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye. The two of them were at loggerheads, being negative in the Sony TV show. But in the new Zee TV show, it will be the complete opposite of it. “Meet will have me on his side whenever he is in a problem. The uncle is a problem solver in the house, you can say. Shagun and I will have a cute bond, like buddies.”
“I had never worked with Shashi Sumeet Productions before. But now, this is my second show with them. I have to say that this is the best production house to work with. I want to be part of this family in future too. It is one of the best production houses to work with,” he states.
Meet on Zee TV will have Ashi Singh and Shagun Pandey in lead roles.
