Akshita Mudgal, who came into the limelight with her role of Gayatri in SAB TV’s Bhakarwadi and Ishqi in Sony TV’s Ishk Par Zor Nahi, is back on-screen with a new challenging role. The actress is currently seen playing the role of Paragi Parashar in Zee TV’s new fiction offering, Iss Mod Se Jaate Hain.
Commenting on her new show, Akshita excitedly shared with IWMBuzz.com, “I think the best part about Iss Mod Se Jaate Hain is its unique concept and the characters of Paragi and Sanjay. I want viewers to take inspiration from Paragi and Sanjay. Our story focuses on how society reacts when a woman in a relationship gets ahead of her partner. I think our show will make the audience question this mindset and inspire them to bring a change to their thought process. We are happy that we are bringing something new to the table and not the regular drama.”
When asked about missing her previous character Ishqi and preparing to get into the skin of her new character Paragi, she added, “I really miss Ishqi. Having said that, I feel Paragi has few traits of Ishqi. It was easy for me to get into the skin of the character as I had time to understand the role and the backstory of the character. But in real life, I am more like Ishqi than Paragi.”
