Imran Nazir Khan, who is best known for his performance in Meri Bhavya Life and is seen in reality show Tribeverse, stepped away from daily soaps to work on his craft and improve his skills. He had a few projects that he needed to prepare for, and now he is looking forward to accepting more quality work.

He said, “After Meri Bhavya Life, I decided that I needed to work a lot on myself, on my body, and on my skills, and I was preparing for a good opportunity. There were some projects I needed to get ready for, so that’s why I stepped back from TV a bit.”

“I have always chosen quality over quantity. If there is a good TV project where I feel it is a step up in my career, then definitely I will do TV. And yes, I want to move forward; I want to do web series, and I want to do big reality shows, whatever is good for my career,” he added.

During this period, he did a lot of verticals and said, “I think I’ve done over 100 verticals so far. So, it wasn’t difficult for me because verticals have a very short shoot time, and after that, I could also work on my body, my skills, and myself. I also did a web series, and I was part of some films that are coming out soon.”

Though Imran was offered a TV show and web series, he couldn’t picture himself doing them. “I didn’t understand the story of some; some didn’t fit well commercially, and some I felt weren’t taking me a step up, so I tried to avoid them,” he said.

He has participated in the reality show Tribeverse, which streams on JioHotstar. Talking about it, he explained that the concept felt new to him. He said, “Earlier as well, I was offered a lot of reality shows, but I always avoided them because I like to do something different. If we talk about 2018-19, I was very famous on TikTok; I had millions of followers. But I left that and came to TV.”

“I’ve always wanted to try something new. When I got the offer for Tribeverse, as soon as I heard about the concept, where it would be shot, I felt it was something new, that the audience would see something fresh, and that’s why I grabbed this opportunity,” he added.

The shooting destination also caught his attention. “As soon as I found out that it would be shot in Nagaland, on the tribes there, on the headhunters, that kind of concept, I got really excited, thinking, Yes, this is the show for me,” Imran ended.
