‘Papa,’ ‘Dad,’ ‘Father,’ ‘Baba’… these words carry deep emotions. A father is often a child’s strongest support, quietly serving as a shield to ensure that their child feels safe, secure, and happy. While we frequently highlight a mother’s sacrifices, fathers also make countless silent sacrifices, expecting nothing in return. He may seem strict and might not always say yes right away, but underneath that exterior is someone who works tirelessly to provide the best life possible for his child. To every child, a father is their first superhero, imparting strength, values, and unconditional support through actions rather than words. This Father’s Day, Bharat Ahlawwat, who essays the role of Raghav Surayavanshi in Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, spoke about the superhero of his life.

Many fathers teach through lectures, but Bharat reflects on how his father’s most profound teachings were entirely silent. “Fathers quietly teach us some of life’s biggest lessons, not through words but through the way they live their lives,” Bharat shares thoughtfully. “When I think of my father, I think of someone who has always carried himself with dignity, kindness, and strength.”

For Bharat, his father’s identity as a good human being far outshines any worldly success, setting a standard he strives to reach every single day. “Growing up, I have always admired the kind of person and human being he is. If there is one thing I wish for myself, it is to become a man like my father. Not just in achievements, but in values, character, and the genuine way he treats the people around him.”

Bharat views the occasion as a beautiful pause button—a dedicated moment to voice the respect and love that often goes unspoken in the rush of daily life. “Father’s Day is a beautiful reminder for me to celebrate him,” Bharat concludes warmly. “It’s a chance to thank him for being the pillar of strength and the exact example I continue to look up to every single day.”
