Shivin Narang who is presently seen as the lead in Internet Wala Love has not one but two reasons to celebrate the day today (11 January).
Firstly, Shivin completes 7 years in the industry and the day also marks the completion of 100 episodes of his show.
Says Shivin, “It is a wonderful feeling to complete 7 years in the industry. It feels like I came here just yesterday. Being an outsider coming from Delhi, I had to go through various phases once I was in Mumbai. Yes, it has ben a learning experience and a wonderful journey. I got to meet good people as an actor and as a person. I got in touch with good makers who really supported me. Also, I got many friends who have been with me always.”
“I have always been selective as an actor, and like good things. I want to put my mind into the work that I believe in and can give my cent percent to it. Basically, I want to invest my time in something that I really like,” he adds.
On the learnings he has acquired from the industry, he states, “To tell you, the industry has been really kind to me. I have learnt that one should respect work in order to get respected by others. Also, there is a need to keep updating ourselves as actors. Not just the body, but as a person, we need to work on our craft as actors.”
On his best memories in his seven years journey, he avers, “Well, there have been many, and I cannot select one. But if you ask, I have to say that from shooting my first scene in Nainital and Mussoorie for Suvreen Guggal to exploring a new role in Punjab with Veera, and to presently explore the character of an RJ has been a fascinating journey. All I can say is that I am having an amazing journey.”
“The day today is special because the show Internet Wala Love completes 100 episodes and I complete 7 years in the industry. I am happy with the results and look forward to more amazing things in the future,” Shivin exclaims.
Shivin feels that Internet Wala Love is doing really well in the time slot it is in. “The role has helped me as an actor, especially in exploring the aspect of being an anchor and RJ. Recently, I even got the opportunity of anchoring the Naagin event and I felt happy when I did a decent job.”
Shivin will want to look into the mythological and historical genre to challenge himself all the more. “I used to be scared about these genres earlier. But now with the experience I have had, I will want to get into the mytho and historical genre and try my luck.”
Shivin wish you all the very best for many more years of success!!
