Good things come in small packages, they say!

The young and lively Eisha Singh can mesmerize anyone with her good looks, sensuous eyes and sparkling smile.

She tasted success on TV with Ishq Ka Rang Safed and nobody knew that her stars will shine bright with her portrayal of Zara in Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah.

Eisha is a single and happy-go-lucky girl; career and family is her first priority.

In an interview with IWMBuzz.com, Eisha got chatty about Ishq Subhan Allah.

Excerpts:

How has been your experience working for Ishq Subhan Allah?

It has been a fruitful experience working for the show. I have been blessed to get a wonderful team which always encourages each other. I have been receiving positive feedback from the entire team and the audience too. I feel really blessed to have had the opportunity to have my entire journey traced by the audiences. They have been kind enough to not just accept me but to love me through all my years.

What social message has the show managed to spread, according to you?

Zara is a very strong character. Although I am not comparing but normally the female leads of Indian TV shows are helpless and innocent. However, Zara takes a stand whenever needed. We are giving a message of women empowerment. Zara knows Islam by heart but she thinks practically. She defines a strong woman of the society.

How has your chemistry with Kabir in the show evolved?

Zara and Kabir never wanted to get married to each other. Later, they were forced to do the same. Soon, they fell in love with each other. The love between Zara and Kabir is so strong that they are like a pair of scissors – whoever will come between their love story will get destroyed.

What makes audience love your and Adnan’s pairing?

The cute and naughty moments of Zara and Kabir are loved by audiences. Sometimes we are not touching each other in a sequence but just looking at each other, and viewers like that too. Everybody likes the pairing for different reasons. I personally feel that Zara and Kabir look too cute together in scenes. Though they are not saying anything but their eyes are speaking.

What is the best compliment you have received?

I was with my mom and we had been to a mall where few ladies, who belonged to Muslim families as they were wearing burqas, approached me and said that I have inspired them. They feel I am their voice. I have inspired them to fight for their rights. They were praising and loving me. One lady hugged me and got emotional too and that was the best compliment that I received.

What have you learnt from the show?

I am learning a lot from the show. I belong to a different religion and this show portrays a different religion, so I am learning a lot about Islam, triple talaq, how to tackle situations like Zara. Personally, Zara, the character, and the show have been a learning experience.

What is more in store for the audience?

Currently in the show, Zara is heartbroken but still she will stand by her husband Kabir to save him from Rukhsar. The way she handles Rukhar to save her love will be intriguing and will hook audiences to their TV sets.

What message do you want to give the audience through your show?

The show’s tag line was ‘Nazar Nahi Nazariya’ so the motto was to change their mindset towards certain things about Islam. Zara is a scholar and knows everything about Islam but she thinks practically, keeping the facts in mind.

Any final message for viewers….

I am nothing without my fans. I am really thankful to all of them. Initially, I was scared whether audiences will accept me or not as the show had a unique concept but now they have been showering immense love. I hope audiences keep loving and supporting me in my journey.

Good luck Eisha!
