Young actor Arjun Singh Shekhawat who was earlier seen in Nimki Vidhayak, is making his presence felt in the grey role of Shivank in Star Plus’ popular show Pandya Store. Produced by Sphere Origin, the show recently introduced the character of Shivank, who is Prafulla Mami’s son.
Shivank who is a struggling actor is back in his hometown Somnath for a cause. He is instigated by Shweta as per the track, and holds a big secret within himself, which is related to the Pandya house.
Says Arjun, “I am enjoying playing this negative or you can say, grey shade. He is Prafulla’s son and the mention of this new character has happened in the show earlier. He has been introduced much later, and audience knew a lot about him. Pandya Store has now completed 600 episodes, and it feels great to be part of this show. And my entry has started up new-age drama in the show.”
Arjun had a superhero entry in the show which was appreciated by viewers. He is the one who saves the Pandya kids when they get into trouble. However, when Shivank enters the family, there is a shocker as Dhara has a secret to hide with only Shivank knowing of it.
“I am enjoying shooting for the interesting scenes in the show. The track of Shivank has given rise to a lot of intrigue. It is great to shoot with the cast of the show. I am enjoying working with the direction team. I like the writing too that happens in the show,” adds Arjun.
“I wanted to do a show which is based out in Gujarat. I am basically from Rajasthan, but am brought up in Gujarat. I used to stay in Somnath as a child, and this show has the backdrop of Somnath. So it is a great feeling to be part of the cast of Pandya Store,” shares Arjun.
On the new flavour he has brought into the show, Arjun states, “People will love this new flavour created in the show with this character’s entry. There is a lot of drama and equation changes to happen now.”
