The television industry boasts few bonds as enduring and admired as Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya. Having recently welcomed their twin baby boys just three months prior to shooting, the popular couple made a courageous and much-anticipated return to the screen, joining the star-studded lineup of Dhamal with Pati, Patni, Aur Panga Season 2 on Colors TV. Proving that a passion for their craft and an unbreakable mutual partnership can conquer any postpartum hurdle, the duo opened up to a massive, devoted fanbase about juggling diaper duty, high-stakes television sets, and the reality of keeping their bond grounded.
Talking about her postpartum problems and the process of overcoming it, Divyanka told us, “People often warn you about postpartum life, but nothing quite prepares you for it. There is no such thing as simply ‘bouncing back’—there are physical aches, brain fog, and relentless demands. We are actors, so we sail it off in front of the camera because we love our work, but it was a deeply courageous decision. None of it is easy, but we are taking it one day at a time.”
For Vivek Dahiya, stepping into this new chapter has meant redefining balance. Stepping up as both a hands-on father to their twins and a pillar of emotional support for Divyanka, Vivek highlights how mutual communication and deep-rooted friendship have kept their relationship rock-solid amidst the chaos of parenting and public scrutiny. “My experience as a father is different from hers; I have to constantly dabble between supporting Divyanka and caring for the babies. But she has an inner strength that is unmatched—she can do anything. When we first discussed taking up the show, she showed a fleeting moment of doubt, but with family by our side, we knew we could do it. Back from a hectic shoot, she becomes my priority; I am her personal diary and complaint box where we unpack all our exhaustion. Yet, the moment we look at our kids, every single ache vanishes.”
In an industry obsessed with labels, perfection, and public validation, Divyanka and Vivek remain wonderfully grounded. Dismissing the pressure of the ‘power couple’ tag, they believe that embracing flaws and maintaining absolute transparency is the ultimate secret to a long-lasting, mature marriage. “There is zero pressure and nothing to prove to anyone. The audience has generously given us these tags, but we don’t take them seriously—we live in reality. We are far from a ‘perfect couple,’ and it’s our imperfections that make our relationship beautiful. We talk through everything, we solve our problems together, and at the end of the day, we are just two best friends navigating this crazy, beautiful journey of life.”
