Summer breaks during our childhood are often some of the most treasured memories we hold onto. The carefree days filled with play, laughter with friends, and the endless choice of games create unforgettable moments. Everything about this unstructured time is etched in our minds, making it a truly special phase in our lives. Today, we, at IWMBuzz.com, have actor Arjun Bijlani talking about his favourite summer activity, the skill he would like to master this summer and much more.
Starting with the favourite childhood summer activity that he would want to relive for a day, Arjun says, “I would love to relive those carefree cricket matches we played in the building compound in Mumbai. No pressure, no schedules—just pure fun, arguments over ‘out or not out,’ and playing till our parents called us back home. That innocence is something you can never recreate.”
Speaking about his best summer vacations, the actor says, “One of my most memorable summer vacations was a family trip where we completely unplugged—no rush, no work calls, just quality time together. For me, what makes a vacation special is not just the destination but the people you’re with. Being with family, laughing over small moments, and creating memories—that’s what truly stays with you.”
After all the play under the sun, Arjun recalls his routine ‘cool-down’ moment during childhood, saying, “Back in the day, it was simple—coming home after playing in the sun and having chilled nimbu paani or mangoes straight from the fridge. Now, I still prefer keeping it simple. Hydration is key—coconut water, light meals, and staying indoors during peak heat. Of course, a good swim whenever possible is the best way to cool down.”
Arjun simply loves to get involved in some kind of sport, and this summer, he yearns to add a new sport to his profile. “I’d probably want to learn something fitness-related—maybe a new sport like pickleball or paddleball, or even a different style of training. I enjoy challenging myself physically, so anything that pushes me out of my comfort zone would be exciting.”
Talking about holidays this summer, Arjun has a fixed destination in mind. “Somewhere peaceful and scenic—maybe Europe or a quiet beach destination. A place where I can truly relax, spend time with family, and soak in the surroundings without a hectic schedule.”
Lastly, on his bucket list this summer, Arjun shares his thoughts with us, “For me, it’s all about balance—travelling to a new destination, spending uninterrupted time with family, and maybe trying something adventurous like water sports with Ayaan. At the same time, slowing down and appreciating the little things is also on my list.”
