Sonakshi Batra, who stars in the lead role of Zee TV‘s Jagadhatri, produced by Rahul Tewary Productions, is excited about the release of the latest musical presentation, ‘Har Janam.’ This heartfelt song showcases the love between Shivay (Farman Haider) and Jagadhatri, set against a backdrop of varied landscapes. The captivating blend of action and romance throughout the song offers a delightful Valentine’s gift to the show’s devoted viewers.
We at IWMBuzz.com spoke to Farman Haider, the male protagonist of the show, to get his views on the delightful song. If you have missed reading what he said, you can check it here.
We also talked to Sonakshi Batra to know her thoughts on the whole process of the shoot and execution of this song, featuring her and Farman Haider.
Talking about it being a huge surprise for their viewers, Sonakshi says, “Jagadhatri has always been known for its intense drama and action-packed storytelling, so introducing a romantic musical element—especially around Valentine’s Day—felt very special. It’s our way of gifting the fans something heartfelt and unexpected.”
On the shooting experience, she says, “The shoot experience was absolutely magical. We are so used to shooting high-intensity sequences—action scenes, emotional confrontations, suspense moments—that working on a romantic musical felt refreshing.”
Speaking at length about the uniqueness of the show, its plot and this new musical offering, she avers, “That’s what makes this musical unique. Even though it’s a love song, it doesn’t move away from the essence of Jagadhatri. You still see her strength, her mission, the thrill and the danger that surround her life. The romance isn’t dreamy in a conventional way—it exists amidst chaos and responsibility. Shivay’s love grows silently while Jagadhatri remains focused on her larger purpose. So the musical beautifully balances action, suspense, and emotion, staying true to the DNA of the show.”
Talking about Shivay’s silent love for Jagadhatri, Sonakshi has this to say. “Personally, I find Shivay’s silent love very pure and powerful. Sometimes love doesn’t need grand confessions—it exists in protection, in understanding, in standing by someone without expectations. His love is selfless and patient, which makes it even more special. As Jagadhatri, she may not openly acknowledge it yet, but she feels that unwavering support, and even she is always by his side. They may not be a couple yet, but they surely feel like one because they are always by each other’s side through thick and thin. I think audiences resonate with that quiet intensity.”
Lastly, acknowledging the fact that the story has found a strong liking, she says, “From the very first promo, Jagadhatri has stayed true to its core. Jagadhatri stands for courage and integrity, and I think that strength resonates deeply with the audience. The show beautifully balances drama, relationships, and suspense, keeping viewers invested. Every character has a purpose and is seamlessly woven into the narrative. And of course, the chemistry between Jagadhatri and Shivay is getting a lot of love.”
All strength and power to #ShivDhatri!!
