Lead actor Farman Haider, who plays the daring undercover cop Shivay in Zee TV’s Jagadhatri, produced by Rahul Tewary Productions, recently opened up about his experience observing Ramadan while balancing a demanding shooting schedule.

Talking about what makes the holy month special to him, the actor said, “My favourite part of this holy month is the sense of peace and spiritual connection it brings. It’s a time when everything slows down a little, and I get the chance to reflect, be grateful, and reconnect with myself and my faith.”

Farman made a satisfying statement that his daily routine is more disciplined when compared to the normal days, during Ramadan, stating, “My routine becomes more disciplined. I wake up early for suhoor, manage my energy carefully on set, and spend my nights in prayers and reflection.”

Talking about the Eid celebrations, Farman told us, “I look forward to the happiness and togetherness of meeting loved ones, celebrating, and feeling that sense of reward after a month of fasting.”

Addressing the challenges of fasting while working as an actor, Farman told us, “Maintaining energy during long shoot hours can be tough, especially in intense scenes, but I try to stay focused and positive.”

Reflecting on the spiritual aspect of the month, he emphasised his gratefulness, stating, “It makes me more mindful and grateful. I feel more connected through prayers, patience, and self-reflection.”
