The Ellen’s Show is a well-known chat show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres that premiered in 2003 and is telecasted during the primetime slot. The show enjoyed a lot of love and support from its audience over the years and has been one of the highest-rated shows. However, according to Talent recap reports, a former employee called out the host aka Ellen’s alleged behavior towards guests and crew members. He also accused the host of turning a blind eye towards misconduct by now-former producers that happened on the sets of the show. Investigations were carried out and some of the claims turned out to be true and the host apologized to her staff via email. Since then, the show has lost a lot of viewers. According to Talent Cap reports, things got worse when Ellen was tested positive for Covid-19 and was later spotted holiday shopping without wearing a mask.
This led to Ellen losing a lot of viewers and her show’s rating drastically dropping by 8% according to the TV News Check reports. On the other hand, the show ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ that is hosted by American singer Kelly Clarkson has been quite a hit among the audience. The show started in 2019 and has 2 seasons of Kelly entertaining the audience with her sense of humor and musical performances have won quite the fandom for the show. According to the TV News Check reports, the show has received so much love from the audience that it has been renewed for 2 more years. The show’s ratings have shot up and have managed to match the ratings of ‘The Ellen’s Show’ rating and the Channel is considering bringing up the show to Ellen’s slot time according to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column. However, Ellen owns the rights to her show which means she cannot be replaced without creating a different show in a different format! Currently, Kelly’s show airs after Ellen’s show.
