In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Neha talks about her journey with Udne Ki Aasha, about her siblings being actors and more.

How can you sum up the fruitful journey of Udne Ki Aasha that you have had till now?

I have learnt a lot as a performer with Udne Ki Aasha. From my expressions, knack of building my character, to the bonding with the other actors, I have learnt a lot. The journey with Udne Ki Aasha has been amazing. It is not that I never thought about the returns. I am glad that this show came my way. I have got a lot of exposure with this journey.

Tell us about your foray into acting? Did you have the acting bug in you from your growing days?

I never wanted to become an actor. I was always into studies. I was a shy introvert kind of person. So I never thought that I would become an actor. For the past two to three years, I was trying to learn as a performer and as a personality. In fact, it was my mother who wanted her daughters to be actors. All of it started with my younger sister Ami. Later, I got Udne Ki Aasha. Now, Yesha too is on TV with Pocket Mein Aasman in the role of Anisha.

Every department associated with a show contributes to a show’s success. That is the main reason for Udne Ki Aasha’s success.

Your sister Yesha Harsora is also getting her due as an actress. How do you both look at your careers?

I am happy for her. When I see her, I feel she should be the best. Yesha shoots very close to my set. We meet whenever we need to share anything, whether it’s related to work or personal. It feels good that we sisters share everything between us. I give her the advice I have got from people.

Coming back to Udne Ki Aasha, what do you attribute to the success of the show?

I want to give due credit to the entire team of Udne Ki Aasha. We have a very good team, warm and cooperative. The Producers, the direction team, the creative team and the unit members are fabulous. I am happy that we are part of this good team of Udne Ki Aasha. Every department associated with a show contributes to a show’s success. That is the main reason for Udne Ki Aasha’s success.

Tell us about your off-screen and on-screen rapport with Kanwar Dhillon?

He is a very honest person to work with. We discuss a lot before our shoot. He is a good friend who will help me when I am in need. The best part about our work is that there is a perfect give and take.

Have you gained any takeaways from Sailee as of now?

There are a lot of things I want to take away from Sailee. Above all, is her patience. I really hope I get as much patience as she has.

What do you look forward to when it comes to bettering yourself with every passing day?

Well, I see a change in myself as a performer from the days when I started. I have to get better than what I am today. Learning in a process that will go on forever in an actor’s life.

What are the kinds of roles you would like to explore next?

I have never thought of it as such. I will take up roles that connect with me instantly. As of now, I am busy playing Sailee. I will explore much into this when the time comes.
