Bubbly beauty Chahat Pandey, who entertained masses in shows like Aladdin, Hamari Bahu Silk, is back with a new avatar in Star Bharat’s latest offering Durga.
Talking about the show, Chahat shares, “I play a strong character Durga who is an ardent devotee of Mata Rani and believes that the goddess has sent her to earth to protect Dev (played by Avinash Mishra), a helpless young man, from evil forces. It’s a privilege being a part of this show which is beautifully written and has a strong message. It’s an honour to work alongside an exciting team.”
So, do you believe in the concept of God? She quips, “I believe in all Gods. I feel God is one; the paths are made different with various religions. There are a lot of similarities in my character and my real life, hence I feel connected to the story.”
Commenting on working with the team, the actress adds, “It has been an amazing experience working with the team. Avinash is a great co-actor. I am yet to shoot with the rest of the characters but I am looking forward to the experience. The entire cast and crew are amazing and we bond well. I would like to tell my fans that watch the show and shower us with love. I am sure they will feel connected to the story.”
