With Riverdale’s fourth season due to start on October 9, we’re looking forward to seeing what small-town mischief our favorite characters will get up to next. Our favorite feature of the program, though, is undoubtedly the cast’s real-life friendships (and relationships!). The connections built on the Riverdale set are remarkable, from Charmila to SprouseHart, and Madelaine Petsch and Camila Mendes are teaching us how to be genuine BFFs. “If we’re going out, she’ll come over and help me pick out an outfit, and I’ll go to her place and pick out an outfit,” Madelaine explained. “I’ll get ready and then sit and observe her applying her cosmetics. It’s a charming little thing that we do.” “She has such an effortless fashion, and I really enjoy it,” Madelaine said, praising Cami’s off-camera style. “She has excellent taste.” We can’t help but agree with you.

We adore a good BFF moment, and we adore the pair’s matching outfits – not to mention their weekend charades games. Cami’s favorite blue and white embroidered Red Valentino sweater, which Madelaine lusted after but finally opted against getting herself, is an example of how even the closest of friendships must have limits. Madelaine bemoaned the scenario, telling, “I wanted to get it so bad. I spotted it in the store but didn’t buy it because I said to myself, ‘She’s got it, can’t do it, it’s her favorite sweater.’ You will not be able to purchase your best friend’s favorite sweater. That’s a blunder. Then it’s like, ‘OK, I’m truly taking your favorite thing,’ or something along those lines. But I’ll be able to borrow it.” Put your own sartorial goals on hold in order to help others.
