In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Aditi Sharma talks of her amazing ‘Jadu’ experience, her new role, and thoughts for the future.

Excerpts:

You have had a good journey with Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka. Tell us about that experience.

I miss Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka. Even today whenever I meet anyone from the cast or the crew, I just go mad as I miss them immensely. I can never even imagine forgetting them as the memories we made are so special. I love my entire ‘Jadu Ki Journey’. The entire team of 4 Lions Films is just amazing!

Fans miss the show even now. What do you miss the most from the whole journey?

A Big Thank You to all those fans, as even I miss it immensely. I wish the show continued for a little while more. But it’s okay as whatever happens, happens for the good! I was really close to my character Roshni! I miss the nuances of my character along with my makeup room! I miss it all.

Crashh will be your digital debut. How has the experience been?

Amazing! Crashh is different than everything I have done before. And to be very honest, we are putting in a lot of effort! We never get time in a TV series to prepare, but touchwood, it still used to come out well. But in this one, we have taken a while to understand the character and prepare for the same. And we are trying our best to do something different. I am putting in a lot of effort for this role. And I really hope and pray that people love this one. The hard work for Crashh is slightly different as the character is emotionally challenging.

Tell us about your character here?

As I said, Kajal is very kind and strong. She is literally all alone and an introvert who doesn’t talk a lot, but if needed she can also shut people up. She also does slam poetry and that is how she expresses herself. Also, she is a mother to her own mother and she is used to it. After facing a lot of tough circumstances in life, she has now become a pro at letting things go. She internally feels a lot but she has become mechanical externally.

What are your first impressions of the webspace?

Earlier I used to think, it is only about bold scenes. But I am glad that times are changing and not everyone has to go through this. And I think the web is an amazing medium, and you can actually do a lot of amazing things that you really feel like. It is pretty cool. The most interesting part is that it is very realistic.

You have a great cast with you in Crashh, Aditi Sharma. Tell us about it.

Amazing cast, amazing people. We are still trying to know each other better. It has been a month since all this started. We go out for dinner and we chill around. Anushka is very cute, Zain is very nice and Rohan is amazing! Kunj is also very good. I am majorly working with these people. Also, not to forget the behind the camera team! They are super talented.

You have grown as an actor with every experience. What is the best learning you have got from the industry?

I have really grown as an actor since Kaleerein. But I still have a lot to learn! But the best learning or a lesson you can say that I got was ‘Being true to myself’ and being very honest to myself and the character. So you have to really feel it to portray it on screen.

Do you have a zone of romance in Crashh?

Not in Season 1 but in Season 2, Yes!

Aditi Sharma, what are the kinds of genres you want to explore?

I definitely love suspense! I would also love to do a rural-based romantic drama for example ‘Mirzapur’ which is Hindi with a slight touch of UP in it. Also, action! Which I have learned after doing YJHJK.

Any regrets in life?

I don’t hold regrets. Life is too short for that. And I just don’t say this but I mean it! I forgive people very easily. If we commit mistakes, that’s alright; we are humans at the end of the day. That’s a part of your life that cannot define your entire life. And ‘Life goes on’.

What are your expectations from Crashh?

I really hope that people will love it. As it is going to be very different and I hope that it reaches a level where everybody watches it! Fingers crossed!

Message to fans, Aditi Sharma?

I love them all, and I never leave a stone unturned to thank them for their constant love and support towards me.
