Dolly Chawla, who is seen as Meera in Zee TV‘s Tumm Se Tumm Tak, which is produced under their banner Studio LSD, feels that a career is important for everyone, and so are opportunities, but finding the right opportunities in the industry can be challenging.

“I think every actor faces this challenge—the key is not just to get opportunities, but to get the right ones. I’ve been fortunate to play a variety of roles across shows like Thapki Pyaar Ki, Main Maike Chali Jaungi, Baavle Utaavle, and Laal Ishq. Each of these projects helped me explore different shades of emotion and storytelling—from drama to romance to light-hearted comedy,” she said.

“The industry is full of talented people, and competition is high, but I believe that when you stay patient and consistent, the right opportunities eventually come your way. For me, it’s always been about quality over quantity and doing roles that help me grow as an artist,” she added.

She stressed that luck plays a part, but only to an extent. She said, “Luck might get you a meeting, but your talent and attitude are what make people remember you. I’ve always trusted the process—when you keep working sincerely, the right opportunities eventually find you.”

“In our line of work, timing and destiny matter, but I also think we create our own luck through preparation, persistence, and faith,” she added.

Asked about her ambition at this stage of her career, she said, “I want to continue experimenting with diverse roles that challenge me as an actor. Playing Meera in Tumm Se Tumm Tak has been a beautiful experience because she’s layered—strong yet emotional. That’s what excites me now—characters that have depth and connect with the audience.”

“My ambition is to keep surprising people with every new performance. What drives me is the audience’s appreciation and the feeling that I’m growing with every project. Acting isn’t just my profession; it’s something that completes me,” Dolly ended.
