Zee TV’s most popular show, Kundali Bhagya, has always kept audiences hooked with an intriguing storyline. The show recently witnessed a 20-year leap and introduced a new generation. Talented and young boy Baseer Ali, who participated in shows like MTV Roadies and MTV Splitsvilla, is currently seen essaying the role of Shaurya Luthra in the show.

Talking about his experience of shooting for his debut daily soap, Baseer is thrilled to join the show. He mentioned, “I have known Kundali Bhagya for years, and now being a part of it gives me great happiness. Kundali Bhagya is my first daily soap. I feel blessed to have been given this opportunity. I believe in not limiting myself to one genre, hence after being part of a couple of reality shows, I decided to take up this challenging role.”

He further added, “Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shraddha Arya, and Shakti Arora have created a milestone and they have a massive fan base. Before Leap, they did a commendable job and I hope I can do justice to the character post leap. I opted for the show as I want to know what kind of appreciation and love I will receive in the acting space.”

Elaborating about his role, he shared, “My character, Shaurya is a rebellious child who has his own ideologies towards life. He does not listen to anyone but his mother. He is born with a silver spoon, doesn’t care about working, and lives his life on his own terms. I feel it is always a challenge to join a show halfway because the viewers are already accustomed to all the characters and actors. However, the twenty-year leap is filled with loads of drama and entertainment for its viewers.  I am sure the fans will continue to shower their love on the show.”

When asked what he thinks about the casting post the leap of the show, Baseer said, “I think the casting is perfect. My co-stars Sana Sayyad and Paras Kalnawat are extremely talented people. I have seen their work. I will learn from them and will inculcate them in my journey. I hope fans love me in this new role.”
