Actor Simron Upadhyay who plays the role of Noor in Zee TV’s Rabb Se Hai Dua is happy to be celebrating her New Year with her family.

Says Simron, “My mom had come down from Bangalore to visit me during Christmas. So I spent my time with mom. I took her out and we had dinner. My New Year plans are also the same. I live with my extended family here, so I’m going to spend time with family and a few close friends.”

Ask her about her favourite Christmas and New Year memory and Simron states, “My favourite NY and Christmas memory will always be in Kolkata. The city is known for its joy, and especially Park Street is always lit up at this time of the year. I used to spend most of my time walking and enjoying the vibrancy, playing secret Santa with my friends and having terrace parties.”

On the thought that is in her mind when the year is about to end, Simron explains, “I am a big fan of festivals. So any occasion around the corner hypes me up. But nevertheless, I always look forward to what’s ahead. It’s the same during the year end. Always looking forward to it.”

“I am a person who makes tiny resolutions all throughout the year. So no special resolution for NY,” she adds.

“Biggest gains this year have been doing better work and better roles. Also being able to keep up with my studies and shoot and learn through both professions has been a big plus,” the actress states.

On the learnings this year, she lists out, “There have been so many learnings throughout the year, but my biggest one has been to always spend quality time with family and friends because other things can wait. Nothing is more important than relaxing and having time spent with close ones. My wish for the New Year will be to do great roles, and achieve breakthrough academically as well along with the good health of my parents.”

Happy New Year!!
