Enchanting beauty Aishwarya Khare, who enthralled audiences in Vishkanya Ek Anokhi Prem Kahani and Saam Daam Dand Bhed is currently winning hearts as Mira in Colors Naagin 5.

The actress is happy to be associated with the show. Aishwarya says, “I am glad to be a part of Naagin 5 and to be associated with such a big brand. Naagin is a brand and it is a big opportunity to be a part of such a show. I agreed to do the show because I wanted to be a part of Naagin brand and work with Balaji Telefilms and because my character is relatable.”

Any skepticism on playing a parallel role? “I was doubtful to take up a parallel lead role, however, the character that I am playing is equally important. Also, I can relate to the character because I and my character Mahi have a lot of similarities. I don’t fear of getting stereotyped as the role is strong. It is meaty and will help me grow as an actor. Also, I would like to mention that I am still new to the industry and have a long way to go. I look up to my co-actors who have a huge body of work. I am happy to be working with actors like Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal. I get to learn a lot from them as well while doing the show.”

Commenting on the pressure of making season 5 a hit, she adds, “Well, I would say more than us, the pressure is on the lead actors Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal. They must be having the pressure of making the show a hit and creating a new record. While on the other hand, we all are working really hard and putting our 100 percent to make the show entertaining for the audiences.”

Aishwarya feels lockdown was a blessing in disguise for her as she got time to spend with her family. “All the while we are shooting we are in Mumbai missing our family. However, this lockdown helped me to be with my family. I enjoyed a lot of family time in Bhopal. We used to play cards all day and have fun. Now, I am back to work and enjoying my shoot as well. Here on set, the production house is taking proper care of everything. There are different layers to maintain safety and ensure the well-being of everyone on the sets. No one is allowed to enter the set without proper sanitization and safety gear. Hence we feel safe on set,” ends the actress.
