The curtains are drawing on Colors TV’s show Mangal Lakshmi, which has had a good run. Produced by Suzana Ghai’s Panorama Entertainment, the show is scheduled to wrap up this month-end (June 2026). Naman Shaw, who made a comeback to TV as Adit Saxena in the show, has portrayed the complex character to the best of his abilities.

In a candid talk with IWMBuzz.com, Naman recalls his special memories and the best moments from this journey with Mangal Lakshmi.

Talking about his two favourite scenes, Naman says, “The scene where Adit finally confessed the harsh reality to Mangal—admitting that he never loved her, that their marriage was forced, and that he wanted a divorce. It was raw, brutal, but honest. My phone didn’t stop ringing after that episode aired. So many calls, so many messages. People truly connected with that kind of emotional honesty, even though Adit was entirely in the wrong.”

Talking about his second unforgettable memory, he says, “That was when a visibly intoxicated Adit crashed the function, leading to an emotional breakdown where he confesses his deep care for Mangal, while tearfully accepting her decision to move on and marry someone else. Completely different energies, but both came from a very real, deeply rooted place for Adit.”

As Mangal Lakshmi prepares for its final sign-off, Naman Shaw walks away knowing he did something rare. “Adit has been a notoriously flawed television husband. I am happy to portray his different shades; he has been human, messy, and painfully real.”
