How has been the journey in the show so far?

The journey has been wonderful. There have been minor ups and downs. I am learning throughout the process. I have been through the black apron challenge and have won those. I am pleased with whatever I have performed in the kitchen in the show. No journey is without its hurdles and of course, I have foreseen my difficulties but they only challenge me, my inner Chef.

What has been the most challenging part so far in the show?

Challenges that we get every week from the judges in the show have been very challenging. Since day one we have been given tough challenges which have up the game. I have always learnt from these challenges. Hence, I feel these challenges should keep coming as they improve our skills. I really hope that I win all challenges and reach the finale.

As you are seeing your dream come true, how do you feel?

I am feeling overwhelmed. I still cannot believe that I am actually in the MasterChef kitchen. I am living my dream. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity hence I am making the most out of it.

In which part of the world, would you like to open your cafe?

I would stick to my roots, in Kolkata. The city has a special place in my heart.

If given a chance, which Bollywood actor’s birthday cake would you like to bake?

Deepika Padukone.

Who is your strongest competitor in the show?

All are amazing and strong, no one is weak. Having said that, my strongest competitor would be Nayanjyoti Saikia.
