Neeharika Roy has had a great journey playing Radha in Zee TV’s Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, produced by LSD Films. Now, Neeharika is all set to shed the old look and get into a newer avatar with a new look and wardrobe.
Radha will now be known as Radhika Kohli, wife of Yug Kohli (Manit Joura) and will have a son Manan. Radha who used to have a simple dressing style will now be shown as the modern young woman, based in South Delhi.
Talking about her new avatar and look, Neeharika Roy says, “Earlier, Radha used to wear sarees and had long braids, and there used to be vermilion on her head always. Now she has become like a Delhi girl who is very stylish. She wears simple anarkali, small earrings, and a nose pin. She also has soft curls in her hair.”
She further elaborates on how Radha and Radhika are different and states, “Radha used to always stand up for her family, and though Radhika understands the importance of family, she will think about herself first and will take a stand for herself.”
Neeharika also states, “There are going to be a lot of twists and turns as the current situation of Radha and Mohan is very stressful.”
As we know, Radha was sent to a mental asylum by Mohan. Radha broke all ties with Mohan, keeping her self-respect as a priority over her relationship.
