Yamini Malhotra the gorgeous and talented actress has enthralled one and all as Shivani in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Yamini loves the festival of lights, Diwali.
Says Yamini, “I have grown up bursting a lot of crackers. We used to line them up on the road and burst them. It has been one of the exciting festivals for me. But now, since we need to care for our pollution levels I refrain from bursting the heavy crackers. However, Dil toh bacha hai jee, so I will buy something like flower rockets, phuljhadi, anaar etc.”
Yamini recollects a horrible incident that happened during Diwali years back, and says, “There used to be a small hut at the end of our lane, that of a dhobi. Someone had placed the rocket wrongly, and his whole premise got burnt. This was a very sad incident that I have never been able to forget.”
“Diwali has a hidden meaning. Every darkness will end with a bright light is what we have to believe. Nobody should lose hope,” urges Yamini.
She sends out a message, “Please be very cautious while playing with crackers. Take care of the kachche houses and do not damage anyone’s property. Also don’t keep any crackers in your hand and burst them.”
