Zee TV’s popular show Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment, is gearing up for a high-voltage dramatic turn that will test the very foundation of its lead couple, Sidhu and Sneha—affectionately called ‘SneDhu’ by fans. Following Madhu’s tragic accident, Durgavati places the blame on Sneha and demands that the couple part ways immediately. As Sidhu faces the heartbreaking choice between his mother’s demands and his love, actor Sheizaan Khan opens up about bringing authenticity to Sidhu’s character, his chemistry with co-star Amandeep Sidhu, and what fans can expect from the emotional sequences ahead.
Speaking about Sidhu’s dilemma, Sheizaan Khan says, “For one more time, Sidhu is torn between Sneha and his mother, Durgavati. It is always unfair for him to choose between them. Sidhu might not be literate, but he has the knack of handling his relationships. So he will not let go of Sneha so very easily.”
Elaborating on his bond with co-star Amandeep Sidhu and how they bring SneDhu to life, he shares, “Amandeep and I have always been true to our characters of Sneha and Sidhu. Aman plays Sneha very naturally. I play Sidhu as truly as I can—giving him my thoughts and expressions. We have a mutual respect as performers. We improvise and also go with the flow. That’s the secret to our success.”
Highlighting their demanding schedule and off-screen camaraderie, Sheizaan adds, “Aman and I do not get free time—it’s nearly 13–14 hours of shooting, after which we need to take care of ourselves. When we have time, we eat together, plan and go out for movies.”
Addressing the audience’s expectations for the upcoming emotional track, Sheizaan reveals, “They will see a magical performance. We have been hearing a lot of fan complaints that Sidhu and Sneha do not get more screen time together these days. But when we perform, we serve. That’s the speciality about us. They can expect beautiful scenes. I am nervous about how the audience will react to the upcoming sequences. Now that both Sidhu and Sneha are in love, it only brings double power, which is harder to break.”
More power to ‘SneDhu’!!
