Anurag and Prerna study in the same university yet never talk to each other. With time, Prerna and Anurag start conversing and slowly form a bond of a strong friendship. As time goes by, Prerna realizes that she has fallen in love with Anurag.
Soon, Komolika makes her entry. She is arrogant and attracts male attention wherever she goes, constantly misusing her dad’s political power to get what she wants. Meanwhile, Anupam makes Anurag realize his love for Prerna. On the other hand, Komolika starts getting interested in Anurag. Eventually, Anurag and Prerna confess their feelings to each other. They perform a marriage ritual, promising to marry each other and consummate their relationship.
Seeing Prerna and Anurag plan a future together, Komolika decides to create misunderstandings between them. When finds out about it, he confronts her. Thus, Komolika plots to get Moloy killed in a car crash. However, Molly slips into a coma and Rajesh dies. Komolika asks Anurag to marry her in exchange for the papers of Prerna’s house. Compelled, Anurag announces his engagement to Komolika. Prerna is left shocked and betrayed. She gets hit by a car and is taken to the hospital where the doctor reveals that she is pregnant.
Rebellious, Prerna enters the Basu house claiming to be Anurag’s wife. Soon, Molly recovers from coma. Prerna successfully exposes all of Komolika’s crimes and gets her arrested. Komolika escapes and comes back to kill Prerna but instead falls down from the terrace and goes missing. Prerna and Anurag reunite and get engaged.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Bajaj, a ruthless businessman makes an entry. He enjoys destroying and taking over businesses, his next target being Basu Publications. He falsely frames Anurag and gets him jailed. Further, Bajaj asks Prerna to marry him in exchange for Anurag’s freedom.
The on-screen twist and tangles are not really on the off-screen story. This show has bought the trio in the tag of “ New BFF of the town. The trio is seen spending their time off-screen and going out for short day trips and seen parting with each other or gathering at different events and have a great time and surprising each other with a surprise. Treat and having a great time together.
