Actress Bhumika Gurung has created a niche for herself in the Indian television industry, absolutely on merit and hard work. She enthralled audiences earlier in TV shows Nimki Mukhiya, Nimki Vidhayak, and Humkadam. She is currently seen playing the role of Meera in “Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2” on Star Bharat.

Bhumika, who is thrilled to  bea part of the project, said, “It feels good to be a part of an icon show. The show returned to TV screens after a long break of 9 years, leaving fans nostalgic and thrilled like never before. It is a homecoming for me as this daily is on Star Bharat and my previous project Nimki was also on the same channel. Now, I am looking forward to the audience’s reaction to my entry in Pratigya.”

Bhumika revealed the reason behind coming on board for the show. She shared, “The biggest reason to come on board was Rajan Shahi (Producer). We all have heard about him and he is an amazingly creative person. It was the main reason for agreeing to take up the project. Meera’s character also excited me. Entering a show as a parallel lead and trying to pick up the bar of the show is a different kind of challenge altogether. It was a risky step but good for my career.”

When asked about her expectation from the show, Bhumika mentioned: “I hope the serial does well. I hope I can live up to everyone’s expectations. I hope audiences accept me in this role. I think there is a little misconception that my role is a negative one. However, it is not. It is more of a positive track.”

Commenting on her experience working with Pooja Gor and Arhaan Behll, she added, “They both have been very warm. It has been an amazing working experience with them. Pooja and Arhaan’s aka Pratigya and Krishna fans are also excited about my entry. The viewers do predict the storyline and might think that I have come to separate the two leads. However, I would want them to have an open mind and watch the show. I want fans to continue to shower their love on the show.”

Good luck, Bhumika!
