Actor Nandani Tiwary, who is currently seen as Mansi in Zee TV‘s popular show Tumm Se Tumm Tak, which is produced by Studio LSD, feels that people should always have a plan B ready. She says, “Rejection is a part of every industry, but a person who is smart enough will have a backup plan ready.”

“If one has other sources of income, such as advertisements, social media, song promotions, etc., then you continue to earn, and rejections don’t affect that much,” she adds.

With shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Naagin 6 to her credit, Nandani started with training under Kishore Namit Kapoor. She says, “He has been a father-like teacher to me; he has always been there for me, and he has been my biggest mentor.” But her biggest supporter was her mother. She said, “She stood with me in all my ups and downs.”

As an actor, the biggest challenge is to build a connection with the audience through the character, and Nandani shared that she feels blessed in this regard. She says, “The audience has been able to connect and relate to my character starting from my first show.”

Her advice to aspiring actors is to work on their craft. She avers, “Give your best without much overthinking. Whatever role is written for him/her, if they perform the best, it will definitely come to them.”

Her goal? “I believe in living and planning for today. Currently, I am playing Mansi, and I want more people to watch our show and take it to the number 1 spot,” Nandani ended.
