Ansh Bagri who is all set for his debut work in TV fiction with Star Plus’ Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, the Gul Khan and Nilanjana production feels confident about the show and role!!
Ansh was seen over the last year in India’s Best Superstars wherein he played various characters. Recollecting his past and present, he says, “It was during the same time last year that I was seen in India’s Best Superstars. I remember that I had nervous energies in me at that time. I was anxious and was not sure of the response. But this year, I am so confident of the product. The show is very good and the team is great. I have seen the first episode and it has come out very well. The excitement level is high.”
On his lead role of Rocky, he states, “I have never done any role like this before. If you look at such a role on the big screen, only a person like Salman Khan can carry such a role. It is the role of a guy with aura and swag. To play such a character on the small screen is great. The way the production house is shooting is not like a typical daily soap. Rocky has his funda very clear – he does whatever his mind says. He says this always in the show. He has swag, intensity. Girls love him and it is great to play such a character.”
On his expectations on the role and show, he states, “Even when I did my film, I was not so very confident but expected that it will do well. India’s Next Superstars was also the same way where expectations were high. This time I am not expecting anything at all as I am very confident. There is an energy from within which I have never felt before. I feel audience will love every character of the show – Rocky, Happy, Chintu. People are going to love Rocky a lot. I feel this will be a trendsetter with the youth. Rocky has the charisma to attract the youth. The New Year has started well and I believe that I will get the love of fans through their acceptance. My dil is truly ‘happy’”.
