Pranjali Singgh Parihar, who essayed the role of Sapna in Zee TV‘s Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah, has had a fruitful journey, as her multi-layered character gave her the scope to perform. Looking ahead, she is grateful for the experience and learning the show gave her. In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz.com, Pranjali shares her thoughts.

Speaking about the experience, she says, “Jagriti Ek Nayi Subah has been a great experience for me, with my character being given a scope for positive and negative portrayals. I have got several variations, and every version of Sapna was so well-written. I just had to follow the script, and it was there on screen. It was a great time learning. I got a package if I can say – I got to learn a lot, worked with amazing co-actors and directors, beautifully written scripts, and great producers to work with. Sapna has to be the best experience; it helped me be versatile.”

She talks about the takeaways from the role and show. “My takeaways from this role are many; I have a list which will never end. Sapna was not an antagonist negative, the girl did what was right for her. She had the right actions when she was negative, which was according to her journey. When Sapna realised deeply at the end, it was a beautiful and strong transition.”

Sharing her thoughts on the roles she would love to play, she states, “Looking forward, I would love to play the protagonist now. I want to play characters that have their own Universe, with different genres, situations, etc.”

Best of luck for the next!!
