Talented actor Jay Soni, who shot to popularity as Ishaan in Sasural Genda Phool, will be soon seen in a different avatar on TV.
Jay will be part of &TV’s latest offering Laal Ishq, a series of passionate love stories with a supernatural twist. Tu Sooraj fame Rhea Sharma will be paired opposite Jay in the show.
Sharing about his character, he says, “I am playing a guy from Banaras; so the makers have given the feel of the location in the story. Audience will love the entire feel of the episode. Although, I have not shot with Rhea, I hope audience love our chemistry.”
He further adds, “I don’t think Laal Ishq is similar to other shows as it is not a horror series. There are beautiful love stories but they have a supernatural twist which make it different from others.”
When asked whether he believes in supernatural powers, and he shares, “I do believe in supernatural things and I get scared too. I don’t even talk about spooky things because they too make afraid. However, I have never experienced such things in real life. I am thankful to God.”
