Neeharika Roy, the young and talented beauty, who has been part of shows like Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, is elated to bag her first lead role in Zee TV’s latest show Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. Neeharika plays the role of Radha who is a spiritual and optimistic girl, full of love and warmth, and is disappointed to see her Mohan, having lost that spark of positivity he had himself infused in her.
Talking about the show, Neeharika mentioned, “When I got an opportunity to audition for Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, I wasn’t keen on giving an audition. Because I had auditioned for a lot of shows before this show. There was not a positive revert from anyone hence I thought this will also not workout. I was upset that I am not getting work. My father insisted hence I gave an audition. And finally, I bagged the project. I am thankful to the team for giving me this mega opportunity. This is my first show hence I am really very excited to explore this journey. I will do my best to do justice to Radha’s character.”
When asked about her experience working with Shabir Ahluwalia, she added, “When I learnt that I will be starring opposite Shabir sir (Ahluwalia) I was stunned. He is the television industry’s star. I never thought I would get an opportunity to work with him on any project. I hope everyone gets a chance to work with him. He is very supportive and motivating. It has been lovely working with Shabir Sir and the whole cast and crew.”
